Special Features
The AK 540VE precisely answers the demands placed on it. After all, the main drive and the drive units for the scraper floor and infeed roller are controlled by a frequency inverter, providing exactly the right amount of motor output as is needed to handle the respective load.
In addition to that, the stationary machine also stands out with the highly efficient design of its shredding tools: The flail drum is equipped with 36 free-oscillating flails, which do not only shred the incoming material thoroughly but are also able to safely avoid unwanted oversized objects. This in turn reduces wear and tear significantly.
When it comes to user friendliness, the AK 540 VE leaves nothing to be desired: Machine, undercarriage and discharge belt are delivered fully assembled, which makes transporting the shredder to the respective place of use extremely easy.
The built-in QuickChange system, which is used for switching out shredding baskets, ensures the flexibility of implementing different baskets and that the AK 540VE always delivers the desired grain size.
With its great flexibility, the AK 540 VE fine shredder is optimally suited for shredding bio-waste and green waste for composting, different wood grades for waste wood processing and biomass processing facilities as well as a variety of other shredding tasks for recycling.
