With the BST, you are counting on enormous performance with maximum profitability. The new drive concept is designed to achieve maximum throughput with low energy consumption.
Special Features
The raw material to be shredded is pushed into the cutting area with two synchronously or asynchronously working pushers, depending on the load of the cutting rotor. In the cutting area the material will be cut with the knives mounted on the rotor cut against a counter blade and guide it along the screen basket. The cutting system is extremely robust and, thanks to the high knife spacing, is resistant to interference. The finished product falls through the selectable and quick-change basket meshing onto the conveyor belt below. Oversize particles are conveyed in a circle by the rotor and cut again.
The machine is optionally equipped with one or two water-cooled hightorque motors with 176 kW each. With two drives, the BST is even more powerful than a 500 kW machine thanks to its boost function. Due to the modern drive concept, no pulley or gearbox is required to efficiently transmit the power to the shredding shaft. The shaft speed is infinitely variable up to 350 rpm. Full torque is available at any set speed.
Two independently operating pushers ensure maximum throughput. The pusher assambly operates completely electrically and load-dependent. No hydraulics are required to operate the machine. For maintenance and service, the pusher assambly can be swung out completely of the shredding chamber.
