SM 518 F – More convenience guaranteed
Special Features
The integrated feed hopper of the SM 518 F has a capacity of 4.5 m³, thus facilitating a simpler and more convenient loading of the screening machine beforehand. The drum has a diameter of 1.8 m with an approx. length of5 m and a screen surface of 22.5 m², which can be optimally utilized thanks to the patented material infeed that is controlled in line with machine loading.
With its open design and screw-driven screening drum, the SM 518 F is optimally suited for a wide variety of separation challenges. To tackle different requirements, for instance, the screening of compost, soils, light-weight building rubble, household waste, commercial waste, plastics, glass, paper, wood, biomass, sand, gravel, scrap or slag – you can select different mesh sizes for the screening drum. There are also different equipment options available, and the SM 518 F can be easily combined with Doppstadt shredders or air separators.
The screw is positioned internally, permitting a horizontal installation of the machine. Power is effectively and mechanically transferred by the direct sprocket wheel drive with geared motors installed on the screening drum’s body.
The screening drums of the SM 518 F are identical to those used in our mobile machines and are thus interchangeable. The wide range of screening drums ensures maximum flexibility and optimum adaptability to material requirements, particularly for continuous operation requirements.
